Registered for you on install day
The warranty has to be registered within 30 days of installation, or it is not honoured. We do it for you before we leave, while we set up the app on your phone.
Selling your home
The warranty transfers once. The next owner takes over the remaining cover, up to a maximum of 2 years, when the transfer is made within 90 days of taking possession.
What is not covered
- Accidents, damage, abuse or misuse.
- Installs, changes or repairs by the homeowner or anyone who is not an authorised installer.
- Power surges, lightning, hurricanes, tornadoes and other severe weather.
- Running the system above its rated capacity.
- Parts that are not the original system's own, and normal wear items.
Normal use — every night, every holiday — never shortens the cover on the lights.
How a claim works

- Our crew checks the system and swaps the failed part.
- We file the claim with the manufacturer for you — nothing to post, nothing to chase.
Questions
What is the warranty on permanent roofline lights?
A lifetime warranty on the lights themselves (rated for 50,000 hours) and 10 years on the track, controller, power supplies, cables, connectors and extensions.
Is labour covered?
The manufacturer's warranty covers parts. Labour and service calls are handled by our local DFW crew — fast local service, with the service terms confirmed in writing at install.
Do I have to register the warranty?
Yes — it must be registered within 30 days of installation or it is not honoured. We register it for you on install day while we set up the app on your phone.
Does the warranty transfer if I sell my home?

What does not void the warranty, and what does?
Normal everyday and holiday use never affects it. Accidents, misuse, repairs or changes by anyone other than an authorised installer, power surges, lightning and severe storms, running the system above its rating, and non-original parts are not covered.
